Marc and I were respective Presidents of our Sports' officials association simultaneously. ( Marc - Basketball, Me - Track and Field). Our friendship went back further than that as we played on a basketball club that was highly successful. I always trusted his instincts as well as his humor. I basically ran the team, but MARC was our Captain. We retired his jersey (#2) many years ago.  Last time I saw him was at ELHS when we were both Presidents, and he had not changed, in fact he ALWAYS took his leadership seriously. I always referred to him respectfully and affectionately as "CAP" just as the Lakers referred to Kareem. Cap, I am really saddened to hear you are gone.   Budd
