As everyone felt, I am sure, Mandy was the most incredibly positive young lady! My husband and I purchased our business in 2023 and that is when I first met Mandy. Mandy became my "GO TO" person when ordering at Welby Gardens each week.....when she wasn't available (or tied up with another customer), I would ask for Jovannah....They are my favorite! Both ladies, I'm sure, had a chuckle, the first few years that I ordered over the phone; dealing with my heavy Texas accent AND totally BUTCHERING the pronunciation of plant names....they endured ALOT! Mandy never let on! She just deciphered my order and kept going....I could always count on her to call each Monday morning for my order, without fail!
When I was diagnosed with cancer, Mandy was always quick to ask how things were going and SHE WAS ALWAYS A CHEERLEADER FOR ME! Though I never met MANDY in person, her bright personality, immense spirit, and bubbly being transmitted through EACH phone call I had over the past 20 years!
I was heart broken when reading that Mandy had left this Earth! Though tragic, I am a BELIEVER, and I know she is making everyone laugh in Heaven! I have had the pleasure of meeting a member of the Gerace family one time, in person, and I feel honored in meeting them!

Mandy was a joy to work with the CSU flower trials. She was always so friendly and professional at the same time. It must be a family trait. She will be missed!

I have so many wonderful memories but one was so fun! I was still in flower business and doing a lot for hospital banquets etc. So Mandy was home at the time and made cookies for me for banquets . She was known as Sweet Bottom Bakery! They loved her cookies and so did we! Love you so much Mandy!

To the Welby Family - I'm so saddened to hear of the passing of Mandy. While I didn't know her or your family, I fondly recall attending the Welby Trials at CSU in the last 90's while I was working for Ball Horticulture as a product manager. I was impressed by the efforts there and the Welby team - a credit to your family and leadership within the community. I cannot pretend to understand your grief, but will be lifting your family up in prayer during this time. With sadness, Marshall Dirks, VP of Marketing - Proven Winners

I have so many memories of Mandy. We went to High School together. She was the nicest person! Her smile is something I will never forget. I feel like she was always smiling. Her ability to listen was an amazing. She always made you feel important and what you had to say mattered. I have many memories but one that makes me laugh is we worked at the Shane Co together and she would always joke around and tell all the old customers I was Chris Issac. I didn't even know who Chris Issac was but all the old lady customers would come talk to me to make sure it wasn't really him. She was such an amazing person and I know it has been awhile since I have seen her but the memories and who she was as a person have stuck with me. My heart goes out to her family and friends. To those who are grieving my you find peace and comfort during this time.

While working with Welby, I was in the very capable hands of Giovanna and Mandy. I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mandy just had a warmth about her. I'm grateful to have known such a kind-hearted spirit.
