On August 10, 2018, Lynne McCarthy committed suicide by shooting herself in the head with a Glock handgun. This came one year after conclusion of litigation against her brought by her mother and brother for her theft of assets from her mother and other abusive conduct. Lynne's mother, Catherine McCarthy, pre-deceased her by slightly over a year due to cancer which worsened quickly after she learned the extent of her daughter's betrayal. Prior to her …
