Lynne's obituary
Lynne made numerous false but very serious allegations against her brother in an attempt to gain advantage in the litigation. Lynne's extended family wanted nothing to do with her. Lynne died with only one friend.
Lynne had not worked since age 28 or 29 and had lived on Social Security disability and financial support from her parents. After her father died, she endeavored to take all of her mother's assets for herself. She partially succeeded.
Lynne claimed to have various physical and psychiatric ailments. It is not clear which of those were real and which were feigned. Substance abuse appears to have played a role in her conduct.
As a child, Lynne was coddled and spoiled. When Lynne found something difficult, her parents told her she did not have to do it. This created a pattern of failure and her ultimate unemployability after she spend several years moving from one job to another. With government and parental financial support, she felt entitled and always wanted more without putting the hard work and sacrifice that others must endure in order to enjoy material benefits.
Family members speculate that Lynne's suicide resulted from a combination of mental illness and guilt for her conduct.
