Luis was such a special neighbor , he would always offer to help in anything we need. Every Christmas he would drop a gift by door. I will miss my gift in front of my door, it was such beautiful feeling of his kindness.

I was a manager at Hertz Burbank alongside Luis in 1987-1989, alongside Scott Gunzer (We were the Three Amigos and constant pranksters). Our days were filled with hard work and tons of laughter. After I moved to Colorado in 1994, Luis and I stayed in touch and remained friends. He had an infectious personality and could carry natural conversations with anyone from a pauper to a prince and made everyone feel special. What a joy it was knowing him for 37 years. Never a conversation without laughter. I know he had a huge following of friends, but he always could spare a quick visit with me when I would return to CA for a visit. Friends and family who were deeply involved in his life were very fortunate, as he was clearly a special gem of a human. My heart goes out to all of you who were closest to him, as I know the void must be immense. Hugs to all across the miles.❤️Floriana (Flo) Lutz
Luis thanks for the memories always in my heart, and I will never forget everything you did for me my friend. RIP
