It has been 310 days since Lucas returned to the Lord on Thanksgiving Day 2022. Today, 29 Sept 2023, is Mid-Autumn Festival. I was feeling very sick in the afternoon and fell asleep on the recliner in the sitting room. Strangely, I remembered what I dreamt.

I went upstairs of the house and I saw the wall partition between the two rooms suddenly become illuminated, as if with translucent bricks. Very softly I went to the other room out of curiosity. It's a strange sight: the head board of the single bed faces the door instead of the wall.

Then I saw something like a green cloth covering something as large as a human being. I walked towards it and realised it was a person, and I asked, "What are you doing?"

Then suddenly Uncle popped out of it, like a Jack-in-the-Box, and said "2 kajeh" and smiled.

"Tuck Yeong, what are you doing?"

He replied in Cantonese that he was making some designs on the wall. He pointed to the opposite wall. I looked across and there he was on that opposite side. His face was like an angel, peach pink. He asked, "Can you see the pattern? Do you like it?"

I said, "It's beautiful. It makes the bricks translucent." But I didn't know what to say anymore because I knew he has already died. But he looked so real, so happy and at peace.

I wanted to ask him, "Did you meet Jesus?" But the words couldn't come out. I knew he wasn't alive anymore. I just wanted to watch him. His face had a glow.

And then I woke up.
