Lou's obituary

Louis Franchi, known affectionately to many as Lou, passed away peacefully on May 17th at 6:40 p.m., surrounded by love. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jan Franchi, and his beloved daughters, Bianca and Dena, who will carry forward his legacy of strength, warmth, and unwavering love.

Lou was the beloved son of the late Vasco and Silvana Franchi, and the loving brother of Emily Wojteczko (husband Jack Wojteczko). He was a man of quiet dignity and understated humor — qualities that touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. He was not only a dedicated father and husband but also a cherished friend and mentor to many. Whether offering wise counsel, a gentle laugh, or simply a steady presence, Lou left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him.

His life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and quiet strength. Though he has left this world, Lou’s memory will forever be cherished, living on in the stories shared, the values passed down, and the love that continues to bind his family and friends together.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
