Louis was my oldest friend. He was my childhood best friend, and the boy down the street who I grew up with.

From the very beginning, everything between us was easy. We were always laughing, always talking, always in motion. As kids, we would go on endless little adventures together, and as we grew up, Louis stayed exactly the same in all the best ways, the fun, lighthearted, go-lucky guy I always knew. Whether he was dancing, singing, or just being himself, he had a way of making things feel lighter.

It was always him and me growing up. We had our separate groups, but through every stage of life, the same constant remained: the two of us.

My favorite memories will always be the summers we shared. The earliest ones were spent playing Minecraft and running around the neighborhood playing ninjas. As we got older, those summers turned into exploring the open space behind our neighborhood, wading in the tall grass, or walking the train tracks, and eventually driving around the town in my truck, just talking and laughing like we always did.

Lou will always be such a meaningful part of my life. I will carry these memories with me always, and I am so grateful I got to grow up alongside him.

Hi everyone. We are planning to celebrate Lou’s life on May 9th from 2-4pm at the home of Paul and Barbara Grunde. This is a gathering/come and go. Please join us.

My condolences to you Eric and your family. I'm so heartbroken to hear about your son Louis we care about you and want you to know we are here.
I will remember Louis for his laughter and his humor the most. He always knew how to make our hangouts fun and memorable and I am so grateful to have been able to call him a best friend for so many years. He meant so much to me and so many others, and he will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest easy my friend. ❤️
