I did not realize today is such a special day.  I have Ever Loved to thank for the reminder.  I rarely thank technology but this time I'm appreciative.

Lorinda helps guide me through this world.  I don't remember what the event was.  It may have been a Christmas celebration.  We were at the A-Frame Riverhouse and  I do remember Lorinda telling us about a teenager the Rule family mentored decades before.  She shared they would help the young lady with rides, shopping trips, and taking her out to dinner.  If I remember correctly,  the young lady was a teenager mother.

During these outings, much more was shared than money and rides from point A to point B.  If you know anything about Lorinda and the Rule family, then you know even a mundane walk to the mailbox is full of love, compassion, and a lesson on how to live your best life.  The outings with the young lady gave her strength and wisdom to make positive choices, leading to self-confidence and options for a future.

Lorinda said she stayed in contact with the young lady and, as an adult, she was so grateful to the Rules for helping her through a difficult time.  To wrap us the story, Lorinda said something like, "Sometimes it is not easy, but it is good to give."

At the time I was working in sales.  I was absolutely miserable.  I procrastinate so it took me a couple of years, but I finally took Lorinda's advice and looked for a new job where I can give to others.  As a teacher I am still miserable most days, but at least I know I am giving everything I can to a very vulnerable student population.

Making a difference in someone's life counts.  Big!  Give what you can.  Take what you need.  I am grateful Lorinda was able to make a difference in my life.

To all who knew Lorinda: I hope the tears we feel today and tomorrow will turn from the sadness of loss to the joy of knowing such an enlightened soul.

I think about Lorinda so often. Her love and commitment to her Family and Daycare Families. Her love and light and logic she shared with all. I have wished more times than I should , if I could just ask her one more time for her opinion on something that I am struggling with. Miss her so much. Karen
Happy Heavenly Birthday Lorinda, I'm connecting with you in a deeply on the other side: eternity. 💞 Sending Brad and your family prayers and love for this bitter sweet day of celebration of the beautiful human you were and the impact of those who loved you.  You were  taken too soon, but your presence and influence are strong and vivid for me.  💓👼🏼💝😇

Brad and family we are so sorry to hear of your loss.  Lorinda was always smiling when we saw you.   She was a great partner with Tracy our dear friend.  She was a wonderful teacher/daycare leader& care giver for our grandkids Karlee & Sam.  She will forever be part of our lives.  🙏🏻For the family.

Lorinda and Brad open their doors for me. And let me live in their fifth wheel for the winter. And I remember a time, a simple time. It was a freezing winter evening right after the ice storm that hit. Power was off, had no heat in the trailer. I went up to the house, where it's more insulated then the fifth wheel. We sat around the diner table. Candles and an oil lamp as light. I picked up a packed of playing cards and we played some gin rummy. We laughed and played till late.

Lorinda was a dear friend who shared vital wisdom when we met in 1996 that influenced who I am today. Some people thought we were “woo woo” but the impact was a deep connection to Source. Lorinda was a huge light and is on the other side helping heal souls to bring more love and harmony to the world.

Lorinda brought me to my first NIA dance class & we danced together for 22 years. I spent some Christmas’ with her family witnessing the incredible love with Brad, her kids & grandkids.

I was blessed to be one of the 5 Yahweh sisters with Lorinda. Our bond was sacred. We laughed often on our Goddess w/e trips. Our organized food fights among Goddess sisters and the sacred ceremonies we did opened my eyes to ancient wisdom. Lorinda you will be forever in my heart. Deep gratitude for sharing the journey with you. 💞

So sorry to hear about Lorinda. We had a lot of fun with  the Rule family and some great camping trips.  I will be thinking about the family. Life just doesn’t seem fair sometimes

Lorinda was my cousin closest in age to me. She was a little older than me and oh so cool! I even cut my hair like her when I was a freshman in high school. She was always kind. I remember how much she wanted a brother or sister when we were young. I regret not making more time when we were young and busy to hang out with my cousin.
This is Mikey Joerres your umpire on Sundays. You will be truly missed your team and your love. Will be missed greatly.
She just had something special, didn’t she❣️and she passed it down to her beautiful children, Jacob, April and Kati , and shared it with her beautiful husband and partner Brad … and many many others. Brian and I were so fortunate to have had some really fun times with Brad and Lorinda. We felt the love and hope that Brad , Kati , April , Jacob , and Lorinda, can feel our love and appreciation for  being a very special part of our journey . We love you all ! You are Lorinda’s beautiful and amazing legacy.  Lorinda will forever be with us . Tami , Brian , L.B. and , Brett Rule.
