Lorinda's obituary
In loving memory of our mother and beloved wife, Lorinda Rule. She was the devoted wife of Brad Rule and loving mother of Jacob, April and Kati. After a difficult battle with Cancer, Lorinda Rule passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022, surrounded by her Family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lorinda was born on March 14, 1959, to Ted and Willie Parent in Portland Oregon and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. She was the older sister of Lynette and Ted Jr.
Lorinda met her soul mate at a very young age and the two were inseparable from that point on. She married Brad Rule September 10, 1977, at just 18 and their journey began.
They started their family and welcomed their first-born Jacob, then a daughter April and completed their family with another daughter Kati.
Lorinda had a passion for working with children from a very young age and turned that passion into a career. Building Growing With Pride with a business partner and many wonderful and dedicated employees.
Lorinda was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all, she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to. Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much.
Lorinda was an amazing wife to Brad for 45 wonderful years. Although our love story ended way to early it was filled with so much love and amazing moments. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill, but the memories we made together will be held close to my heart forever.
She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband Brad, children Jacob his wife Katherine, April, Kati her husband Dustin her grandchildren Lily, Iden, Ace and Braven, Reyna, Hudson, Julia, and Klara.
