She had a zest for life which she expressed through her favorite activities with her family and her Church family. and interests. Her simple pleasures in life, Lois adored the rose garden her late husband planted for she was so thrilled to smell and watch the flowers bloom! Enjoyed Paul Baez who played her music while cooking her cheeseburgers, French fries and relished her coffee. She also was spoiled with gifts for no reason to mention, we did because she was the queen of our hearts, she deserved it all! She loved her potato chips and sweet stuff to eat! She loved reading her Bible and read books with Dr. David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley among her favorite authors. Lois had a soft spot for gospel music, finding solace and joy in The Booth Brothers' songs. She liked watching television, particularly Highway to Heaven. On another note, she appreciated the thrill of a good card game, particularly Rummy, and enjoyed the challenge of puzzles.
Regardless of her interests and hobbies, above all, she cherished the time spent talking with her family. Lois valued outside often finding tranquility and peace during her walks. One of her favorite destinations was the idyllic paradise of Hawaii, a place she adored visiting. Glen was always finding places to visit with Dad and Mom because he understood that they would not spend money on their own enjoyment because the needs of the many out weighs the need of two. The countless vacations and family camping trips was a joy for all of us! I am so thankful for my brother Glen who put our parents first!
One of the most noteworthy aspects of her life was her devotion to Christ. She played the organ at church while her daughter accompanied on the piano, a testament to both her faith and her dedication to family. Her legacy is defined by her strong commitment to her Lord and Savior, a testimony that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
