After a difficult battle with ovarian cancer, Lisa Sweeney passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025 surrounded by her husband, daughters, brother, sister-in-law, and best friend in her own home.

My mom was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joan & John Thomas. She was bubbly and effervescent even at a young age, and fostered friendships wherever she went. She was a natural-born caregiver and always said that her dreams were to be a mom, and …
