Obituary
Lisa Shannon of Williamstown, MA passed away peacefully in her sleep after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia, on August 22nd. Lisa was born in Queens, NY in 1945 and grew up in Hempstead, NY. She was the daughter of Philip and Gwendolyn Horwitz. Lisa graduated from Vassar College, Brooklyn Law School, and Bank Street College of Education. She pursued her passion for children by teaching elementary school for over 40 years in New York …
