My heart is in South Florida today, I wish I could be there. Mrs. Gould was more than a teacher, she was a living breathing  guardian angle. I confidently say I would not be who I am without her. Sending the Gould family the biggest hug, and I will carry her spirit with me everywhere I go.

Blue, thank you for believing in me, pushing me outside my comfort zone, and inspiring me.

Dear AJ, Stephanie and Danny,

With our deepest sympathy. Our love, prayers  and thoughts are with you.

The Davis family

Ms. Gould was an outstanding supporter as a teacher, mentor, advisor,  companion, and more. As the advisor for Key Club, she always helped out in any way she could. I always admired her dedication to her roles and her genuine, kind personality. Her impacts on me as well as other people are life-lasting. We will all miss her dearly.

Mrs. Gould was so kind and so personable. I talked to her a lot when my son went to college for engineering because all three of her kids graduated with engineering degrees. I asked her for advice and she was helpful. I liked talking with her whenever she had a minute. She was easy to talk to. I will miss her.

My deepest condolences to her family.

Through educating, mentoring, and inspiring, Ms. Gould impacted so many PBHS and EHS students, staff and community members. How fortunate we were to have known her. To the family, my deepest condolences.
I was so sorry to hear about Lisa's passing. She was such a wonderful and considerate person. She gave so much of her time to the students and staff of PBHS. She will be missed by all.

Gouldie Bear –

My heart aches hearing this news. You had such a profound influence on the woman I am today. I sat in your SGA class from 2006-2009 in high school and you encouraged me to pursue leadership roles within our association. I remember you cheering me on for Parliamentarian and I would always ask, “What does she see in me?”

You brought me along to SFLTC events, which had such a lasting impact on me as an impressionable teenager. You taught me to aim high, believe in myself, and most importantly, to enjoy life and have fun along the way. I will always be grateful to you for looking out for me—and oh my gosh, we laughed so much together.

Here’s to football, working hard, playing hard, loving family — and your life.

All My Love,

Amanda (Nelson) Foster

Thank you for being a supportive colleague  and making PBHS a fun place for teachers and students. Rest in peace, Lisa.
Lisa did so much for our school and kids!! She headed up hundreds of events and always gave the staff special treats and cards through her leadership in SGA for years! Her influence and presence at our school will be greatly missed but her legacy will live on! To family and friends I pray for God’s help and healing in the days ahead for you all. PBHS was blessed to have her.

Blue was a huge influencer of my daughter Cristina. She pushed her to try new things and encouraged her to rise to each occasion.   Many times Blue went out of her way, on her own time, to support Cristina and the many kids who grew to love student government and they loved Blue.   I wish I said Thank you more often. Lessons learned. I’m a very grateful Mom Blue. Cristina will continue to make this world a better place because of the leadership qualities you taught her.   I hope your son and daughter can find some comfort knowing just how many lives you touched.  — with Cristina Castresana

Thank you Gouldie.

Thank you for inspiring us, for caring, and for treating us like real people and not the dumbass teenagers we were.

Because of you, hundreds of kids grew up loving SGA. You took a silly after school club and poured so much into it. You are the reason that countless friendships, memories and bonds were made.

You will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Gould, or Blue as we all fondly called her, was my teacher and SGA advisor in high school, but more importantly my friend. During my time as president during COVID my senior year, she always believed in me and instilled confidence in me that has helped me succeed today. She was always there to support me and every single one of her students. I always admired her kindness and passion for teaching and her students. I have so many fond memories from FASC trips, to long FaceTime calls planning for events, to simply eating lunch together in her classroom - she was the best person to be around. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Rest in peace, Blue. 💙🩵
