Linda Luana High, known to friends and family as Lindy, died July 31, 2025, in Atlanta, Ga., following a brief illness.
Lindy was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on April 9, 1949, to Lynette Duggan and Joseph Maxwell High. She spent her formative years in Jefferson City, Tennessee, where her father served on the faculty of Carson-Newman College.
