One of my favorite memories was watching the Mariners spring training game with you. I loved watching them play while spending time with you. I’m really going to miss you Grammy. Love, Evan

Enjoying every minute.

Dear Nicki, Doug, Linda’s Grandkids, (and, of course, Chewie)

I’m so very sorry and sad about your loss of Linda. Your Your Mother, Your Wife, Your Grandma, Your “Mom”-to-Chewie). She loved all of you so very much. She worried about all of you. With me, she shared proud and uplifting stories about all of you.

She was such a Wonderful Friend - in good times and not so good times. She helped me to survive and thrive and live well in Port Ludlow. She continued to support me when I moved back to California. Even after she and Doug moved to Arizona.

She was fun, how I loved to hear her chuckle and laugh! And wise. And, oh, so very authentic. (How I love that about her). Indeed, She Spoke Her Truth.  And lived her truth.

Her creativity, art, and “fashionista” ways were so always “spot on”, intriguing and fun! So “Linda”.

And brave. Wow, was she brave. Always positive, even in the most challenging seasons of life. Yes, Linda was positive and brave.

Our Dear Sweet, sometimes Feisty, Linda endured some (many) “challenges” during her life. Some more “challenging” than others. Yet, she always, “Kept On, Keeping On”.

Until this last “Challenge”… This was a “Biggie”. She knew it. But she bravely took on this final “Challenge”, asking for prayers and good wishes. I said prayers. As did my friends, who didn’t know her, except vicariously though me. And she had many others praying for her, and sending positive thoughts to - and - for her.

But, this time, it was different. Even though “she” was up to this Last Challenge, her Body wasn’t. And sadly, we lost her.

But Linda didn’t “Lose” this “Challenge”. Now, she won’t face any more “earthly” challenges.

She left us with wonderful, cherished memories, of a truly loving, caring, wise, fun and strong Mother/Wife/Grandma/Friend.

Linda fought a “Good Fight”. She always did. The Fight is Over.

And, now, She is Resting in Peace.

I miss you Linda!  I love you Linda.

 Marcia    xoxo
