Lilian Marie Cogbill was born January 16, 1942 to Russell and Vera (Asburn) Cogbill in Joplin, Missouri. She moved to Kansas City with her family when she was young. Marie graduated from Ruskin HS and then went to study Music at Wasburn University, graduating with a Masters in Music Education. She shared her gift of music with many students during her tenure at Kansas City Kansas Public Schools USD 500, retiring in 2008. Marie was …
