Leonard Waymon “Pops” Patterson, Jr., 63, went to be with his Savior on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Benbrook, Texas, after a nearly eight-year battle with cancer.
Waymon was born on August 30, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Leonard Waymon Patterson, Sr., and Sylvia Ann Patterson (née Hayley). After graduating with the Class of 1981 from Brewer High School in White Settlement, Texas, he held several jobs before beginning a long career in Respiratory …
