Although Leo studied engineering in college, his life’s true calling emerged behind the lens of a camera. Widely recognized as one of Caracas’s top photographers, he was an absolute master of light, capturing the human form and spirit with a brilliance that revealed unexpected depth and emotion. Over a remarkable career, Leo touched the lives of thousands by memorializing their most cherished moments. From a baby’s first photographs to bar/bat mitzvahs, birthdays, weddings, and treasured family portraits, his images preserved memories that continue to bring warmth, comfort, and meaning to countless families.
Away from the studio, Leo found simple pleasure in the steady rhythms of a baseball game, enjoying the sport as a quiet observer and devoted fan. Yet it was his family that truly defined his world. He is survived by his sons, Kilay Elias Reinfeld and Kidan Ishai Reinfeld—whose mother is Mary Benarroch—and by his daughters, Vanessa Katz and Galia Tanur. He took immense pride in their accomplishments, encouraging their dreams and celebrating their personal journeys with unwavering love and support.
