It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lela, who left us peacefully on August 22, 2024, at home in Pisgah, AL, surrounded by loving family members. Lela was a radiant spirit whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.
Born in Trenton, GA, to Joseph R. Knight and Jolee (Carrell) Smith, she enjoyed life and had a bit of an adventurous streak, living and working …
