This is the first I'm hearing of this from her son because we haven't been able to co tact her.

Me and Leah used to date and live together in Orrville OH.  We have always stayed in touch through out the years by phone  or Facebook and finally met back in person for dinner with me and my wife after not seeing her for over12 years  this past December 17th 2023.

She was an amazing and caring person and will be misses. Praying for her family

I'm absolutely devastated to hear this terrible news. Leah was a real rarity, a sweet, kind, beautiful soul. Requiescat in pace et resurget in gloria, Leah

Leah is one of my childhood best friends.  I meet her at Orrville Community Church . Once we meet it was like Velcro.. Leah and I were always begging Mrs Darlene to spend more time together either shopping, camping outside on my parents property or on a bike  on an adventure. . My mother even took us shopping for matching clothes like we were real sisters and she came on our month long summer vacations. She is one of our family. She wasn’t suppose to knock because she is always welcome. No matter the distance of time or miles when we were together it was like we saw each other yesterday. My father cried when I had to tell him the news. When she needed me and by miracle asked for help  I was completely honored. Leah asks no one for anything because she is the strongest woman I know. If Leah trusted you you are one of few.

Leah has been so many things to me like a forever friend. She is a great listener without judgement. I never felt defensive with her. I could tell her anything and knew she wasn’t a gossip. We had better things to do with our time than to talk about others. She is a woman of forgiveness even when they didn’t deserve it. She could reinvent herself anywhere because of her intelligence, charisma and her beauty. She loved loved loved her kids and is  one of the most selfless mothers to Micah, Ashley, and Alex. She is the person who gets knocked down but refuses to give up. She is the friend that you had a day you feel sorry for yourself and Leah would have done that day with a smile in a breeze. Leah is the person you could leave as the guardian of your children and she was one of my kid’s emergency contact. There isn’t enough room for me to tell what Leah IS to me. I can’t accept was because she’s still here to me……

Leah has been our next door neighbor for the last three years, and what a wonderful neighbor she was. She was always smiling, sharing a laugh, and offering a hand. She loved to work in her front yard, and made it look more beautiful each year. The peonies she planted this year were my favorite in the neighborhood. Sasha, her dog, and our dog, Bella, loved to run together in the front yard. She was such a pleasant and kind person. She will be greatly missed in our home. Our thoughts and prayers are with Leah’s family as they navigate this incredible loss.

Leah was the bright star in the sky. She sparkled even when she didn’t think she could. She had the brightest warmest smile and always knew when you needed a hug. This world was intent on causing her nothing but pain but she laced her shoes up and plastered a smile on, went about her day, not to improve her day but to make someone else’s day better. She will never not be missed 😢 we love you Leah

I was so sad when I heard the news of Leah's passing. I didn’t know her personally. But her story touched my heart. I pray her sons find the peace and strength they need.
I'm so incredibly sorry and heartbroken over the tragic loss of Leah.  Love you all.

Leah was the most kind neighbor anyone could ask for. She always smiled and cared how people were doing. Erica and I will miss her deeply. ❤️
