Straight from the heat of Tina Sue Chidester, Daughter of Larry Douglas Chidester.

Anyone who has been blessed to have had the pleasure to know and love my Dad, will tell you something wonderful about him and the many times he made them smile. How they looked forward to the next time they could do it again, wishing they had more time. My Dad was that Dad, always amazed me how easy he could make other people around him smile and bring out the best in them. I've always felt so proud to point at him and say "Thats my Dad" that there is some of that spark in me. Knowing that I have the potential to bring out the best in others too. I could go on forever telling you the things that made my dad unique and special, those that knew him could testify he left this world leaving a lot of great memories for those that knew him. His life will be remembered with love and a smile from the many lives he touched. Stay connected with those you love and love you, pray and ask God for guidance and you can't go wrong. I know when I look up, both of my fathers are there to help me to never feel like i am alone or unloved, what a blessing. I'm so grateful every day for no matter what life brings my way i have backup and faith to get through it with confidence.

Thanks Daddy, I love and miss you so much.

- Sis

Good past memories with great…
Good past memories with great grandpa Jack, grandpa Larry, dad Brian, my son Elijah, my son Tristan and myself. Cherished moments and priceless times captured in a photo. I love them all. I'm a lucky girl to have had all these wonderful Chidester men in my life.

I first met Larry when he worked at G&L Equipment in SLC. You could tell right from the get go that this was no ordinary man! G&L at the time was a distributor for Nitto Tires and other companies that I don't remember and Larry was their outside salesman. In 1970, my father Ed started a distribution company called Competition Products. Larry had moved on from G&L and started working for  regional distributor based in Idaho Falls called Monty's Bombardier. He and my dad would run into each other, in the field, and became fast friends! Myself, being a 17 year old long haired local racer, had the misfortune/fortune to compete with Larry in the dealer sales arena. I was star struck by his demeanor and his charisma and he always gave me butterflies! Little did I know at the time that he would have such an impact on my sales abilities! Anyone that didn't glean something from him shouldn't be in sales and marketing! Legend, mentor, fellow Wizard and more! I'm 1000 percent sure that he closed his first call in Heaven!

"White Shoes" was the best!  I had the privilege of getting to know Larry when he was a Tucker-Rocky sales rep in Utah.  He was more than just a rep, he was a friend and he always brightened the day at the shop when he came on his sales calls.  Not to mention his motocross-inspired blender he would bring to races and shop open-house events!  His energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude will be missed.
My uncle Larry has been such a big part of my life. Such a inspiration to all who met him . I admire him look up to him and have loved him my whole life.  All my remaining days I will remember him and smile when I do he always had that effect on all who had the blessing of meeting him even for a moment. God bless

My condolences to Larry’s  family. I first met Larry when he was 69 years old, seeking a job at In-N-Out Burger. Larry was very persistent, and insisted on being interviewed by any of the managers on shift. His friend Bunni sent him over to us, and I am so glad that she did. He was instantly one of my favorite people to work with. I feel very honored to have Larry be apart of my life. A bonus grandfather when my own had passed away. He always had the best things to say.  I loved his jokes, his singing, and his effortless ability to light up any room he was in. Larry encouraged me through many important times in my life. I’ll always cherish our friendship. He sure did Love big, and was not shy in letting his love for the Lord be known. So admirable! I’ll miss you for the rest of my life. Sending lots of love and prayers to all Larry’s loved ones! 🤍
