I was blessed to share the stage with Laurent at AMTSJ (in San Jose, California).  I was his Tessie to his Bela in "Crazy For You", and we had the best time.  I was one of the non-equity cast members and he treated me no differently than the rest of the cast.  I'm also a veterinarian so we bonded over his beloved Puli. I'm glad we got the chance to catch up in 2021  I will miss his fabulous Christmas emails!

I first saw Larry perform down the Jersey Shore at the Surflight Theatre.  I was 14 at the time.  A wonderful little tidbit I brought up to him on many occasions.   He was such a presence on stage, that his name and performance stuck with me.   Fast forward a few years, I am now looking for my first apartment in NYC.  My mother's advice to me was to check the names on the mail boxes, see what kind of inhabitants lived there.  Scrolling down I spot one "L. Giroux".   It's a sign!  This is the apartment for me!  My roommate and I quickly moved into 345 W. 85th Street.  We all became fast friends.  Later I had the privilege of working with Larry many times.  I was so lucky!  My husband Steve and I, are so saddened by this news, but we can see him plain as day holding court up in heaven.  Raising a brow and giving "The Look".  

Rest in peace dear friend.
