I didn’t have the blessing of knowing Lauren but I do know Tim and Tom helped me out of a jam once so I know she came from good people. May she rest in God’s loving arms and may all she left behind in love find a tiny bit of peace every day as they remember her
My thoughts and prayers are with you. My deepest sympathy.
I will always remember the fu…
I will always remember the fun we had down in Misquamicut beach. The huge waves, singing, “Ava Maria, send us a wave,” making string bracelets, painting rocks, the loud pots and pans parade, playing spoons, lobster, walking to down to get ice cream and riding the bumper cars, going to the water park, fire works, and sitting by the fire. I also remember going on the carousal and grabbing the rings out as we went around and going to the candy store. These were great times I had with Lauren.I am also lucky in that I share a birthday with Lauren ❤️We will always be September 4 together.

Lauren and I sat next to each other at work for over a year. She brightened my days. We laughed. We shared reflections. We gossiped. We gave each other tips. Lauren was damn good at her job, beloved by teammates and clients. I was so impressed by the courage she showed when she left Google and set out in her own. I am so thankful for the times I shared with Lauren and so saddened by the loss that her absence will be to this world.
I am so sorry to hear what happened to Laura and I can see she is Loved by so many people
Tom and Nancy, I am so very sorry for your loss. What a tragedy to lose your beautiful Lauren. My thoughts and prayers are with you both, her husband and your entire family. God Bless you all.
Sending LOVE to all those whom were fortunate to know and love Lauren. A much much too soon farewell to a great old friend & teammate. Growing up with Lauren was years of good times, as only she could create!
I ❤️ this photo!! For me, it captures Lauren’s spirit! It was taken on a trip to Cuba with Lauren, Andrew, Tommy, Timmy & Tomcat. Heaven is a lot brighter & more fun now that Lauren is running the show.

I remember this visit especially well, as it was the best birthday weekend EVER!!!
Lauren was an amazing individual who brightened up any room that she walked into. We loved working with her and are grateful she was apart of our lives. We wish the family peace and comfort in knowing how amazing Lauren was and the positive impact she had on the world. She will be missed dearly
I traveled the world through Lauren’s beautiful photos! Live Like Lauren! 💗
I am heartbroken and devastated that Lauren left us too soon. Lauren I miss and love you so much! You maximized your time living to the fullest! You have the biggest heart and smile and the most contagious laugh. You will always live on in our hearts and the zest you have for life inspires me to Live Like Lauren!

Lauren made me feel so welcome when I joined the Rooke family and I loved our adventures together.

Andrew, Tom, Nancy, Jenn, Justen, Judy, Will, Becca and the entire Rooke/O’Rourke/ Babicz Family, and to all of Lauren’s friends especially Courtney, I am sending love and strength as we navigate the void without Lauren. I celebrate Lauren and miss her terribly. Love Alice
Fierce. If given one word to describe Lauren, this is it. A fellow Bostonian, Xoogler, lover of life. Lauren had your back, she had mine. Whether up against a disgruntled client or offering me encouragement at the lowest of personal lows - Lauren was a dependable, loyal, salt of the earth friend and colleague.

Who needed Google search when you could ask Lauren! From wine country tour to mortgage broker to dog walker (doctor, handyman, Michelin star review, etc, etc), her rolodex endless. Every clutch resource from a decade ago, having shared an office with Lauren.

I snuggled my 6 year old tonight. Covered Ryland in the quilt that Lauren gifted from his baby registry. Ever so thoughtful, Lauren’s gestures intentional and meaningful. My son is a fearless little athlete on wheels or two boards. Lauren always got a kick out of his spunk and ability to send it. Ryland and I watched an Instagram post of him ripping up the bike park. I read aloud Lauren’s enthusiastic comment to this post: “Mind BLOWN @babicz”.

Ryland obviously loved it, hugged me and said “Mom, I’m going to miss Lauren and her messages!”. Me too, buddy, me too.
Lauren taught me everything I needed to know at Google in Boston. I worked along side her for years, even moving from Boston to San Francisco with her as part of her Sales Pod. Lauren went so far as to write me a letter of recommendation so I could transfer from Sales to Marketing (which ended up being fundamental to the rest of my career). I remember she told me "Writing this letter for me is super hard because I know if they like the letter then I won't get to work with you anymore." She was so sweet and so kind. I'm so sorry Andrew.
I had not seen Lauren in-person since our company holiday party of late 2015, where we all "danced the night away" in the Starlight Room atop the infamous Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco. Her husband Andrew & I not only were co-workers at that time, but became close friends after and have been ever since. Through Andrew I got to know Lauren as an amazing partner to him and the love of his life. Their family along with their trusted dog Jersey became "our" family. In fact, even indirectly Lauren--through her own entrepreneurial efforts with Dogpatch Digital, became a professional inspiration to me. Whenever Andrew & I would meet for coffee, dinner, or beers and I would "tell him my challenges," he would refer back to her and her immense tenacity in launching her own enterprise. Both of them were very inspirational to me. When I received the text from Andrew this past Friday, Feb 12th--I literally was overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with sudden loss, but also with sheer emotion for Andrew and both of their families. In her short time with us here on this planet, she absolutely had an impact on me. Indirectly she even affected my wife Lois, who would listen to me for years talk about their small SF family. Our thoughts, prayers, and love forever are directed toward all of her relatives. I won't even write this in the past tense, because the spirit she so freely gave in life remains with all of us, and will forever. We are here for Andrew and anyone in the family that needs us through this time of grieving. All my love. Michael.
