Gayle and Family,
I'm so sorry to discover that Larry passed away. I am putting my baby son to sleep and was singing my two fave songs that Larry and Levi sang back at Praise together, "Jesus loves me this I know...hallelujah.." and that other one that went, "so paint my life with your charity..." and I thought I'd look and see if there was a YouTube video of them singing it. I was so sad to find this instead. :(
Larry was such a kind, gentle, funny, faithful man....he was definitely a father figure in my life and set a good example for me in my early 20's of what a good dad looked like.
Many blessings on you, Gayle and your sons, their wives, and their children.

We just now learned of Larry’s death. We feel so sad to hear about it. So sorry we cannot attend the service! We so enjoyed Larry’s music: singing and playing guitar, and being in our singing group “Refreshment Committee” way way back in the day. We are praying for all of you, Gayle, Brandon, Levi and Spencer and wives and children, and family, for God’s great comfort.

Dear Gayle, Brandon, Levi and Spencer, Kevin says he will never forget Larry through Golf, Softball, Biking, care group at church, camping and his singing. He also says he recalls Larry rescuing our daughter Sarah at one point. I remember his patient help in every way possible - for setting up and take down of large church gatherings or decorating to planting your amazing yard near Chambers Creek --to just changing the atmosphere in any and every situation with his great humor and quiet joy & able helpfulness. His perseverance through these many years of pain while hoping and trusting with you for more health here, is a shining light still. His obvious full assurance of everlasting life buoys us up too. I can't quite take it in that we're all still here without him -- but I know we'll continue the fun and joy forever - with time to know him better when we all - (even Gayle and I too!) - can enjoy the sports he loved with him without pain and in fully coordinated bodies!

Larry is to be praised for his very positive attitude toward life despite his
ailments which I tried to relate to my brother-in-law in Houston who had a similar cancer.

Gayle and family - Thank you for sharing the highlights of Larry’s too short life. I can imagine the wonderful times you shared together and with your loving family. Larry’s musical talent and warm heart were gifts to all who knew him.

Thoughts and prayers for you Gayle and family. Larry was such a good guy and so gentle and kind in every relationship I encountered with him. Had a couple of golf trips with him and got to know him much better but everywhere I ran into him, he was there smiling and jovial, even, when I know he must have been hurting and it caused me to marvel at his attitude for the health trials he endured. So lucky to have experienced knowing he and you at Jubilee.

Larry was such a wonderful, vibrant person. His smile was infectious and his spirt was so strong. Larry embodied love for everyone and shared his beautiful voice. Whether he was singing and having fun with his brothers or singing hymns for his loved ones, you knew he was singing from his heart. Larry wanted to live and went through so many operations and treatments, that his life was prolonged, but at the end, he was ready to say good bye to his earthy body and embrace his heavenly soul. He will be missed by many and my love goes out to the family. Love you, Cousin Vicki

Every time we saw Larry in Jubilee at a function or Gym he would greet us with open arms and kind words. His laughter was loud and catching.
At Turning Point Church we enjoyed his beautiful voice on the worship team for many years. We admired his bravery and strength when he performed even in his late stages of his illness.
We love and miss our Brother in Christ.

Larry was such a wonderful person filled with many talents. Sam and he were wonderful friends and I enjoyed seeing the camaraderie they shared. We both loved him. I am sure he and Sam are enjoying getting together in Heaven. They are probably singing their hearts out!!

Larry has been an outstanding neighbor, friend and inspiration to us for the last eleven years due to his positive attitude and love. We have cherished our time with him and Gayle and with playing music with Larry in the Jammers group. We miss him and may his memory be a blessing.

What a wonderful picture of Larry! It just brought an instant smile to my face! My heart aches for what I know you and your family are feeling! I’m just an admirer of his wonderful music talent, as I have a couple of pictures and short video clips from that 4th of July concert outside up at the Lodge. I was only able to come for a short visit to hear the Christmas program, as I had other family obligations, but he was still able to keep singing and playing his guitar! Amazing still!!! I’m here Gail for grief/friendship support!
