We were everydayβ¦we were neighbors, very special friends, she was like my sister. Β We were everydayβ¦ the ups and downs, the ins and outs, the 4th of July and Christmas. Β We counted on each other most everydayβ¦we laughed, we listened, we encouraged, we sat by the pond. Β She could do anything, Β she painted my house, reattached my flower boxes, started my snowblower, she could fix anything, everyday. Β We had a signal, her living room shutters face my living room, she opened them each morning to welcome the day, and I loved to see that everyday. Β But today is not everyday, my heart is broken, and the shutters are closed for now. Β My Heavenly Father and His angels gently took her to His glorious home where all the shutters are open. Β Although I believe she is more than likely dancing, she is also probably fixing anything that is broken, as if anything is broken up there! Β Except that piece of my broken heart she is holding, she will fix that on the day we meet again, but until that day, I will miss her everyday.

Ellie and Brendan, I am so sorry for your loss. Β Your Momβs tenacity in all things dear to her heart (including of course the two of you) was a force to be reckoned with! Β She lived and loved fiercely. Β

I am so sorry to hear of Kim's passing! My prayers are with the family. I met her thru the Nieumaier family.

My first memory that I can recall of Kim was having a leaf fight on the front lawn of Strong Vincent when we were in middle school. For some reason, I remember her telling me how much fun she was having during the melee. It stuck with me that even at a young age she wanted to acknowledge the amount of fun that she was having. My next favorite memory of Kim was when me and David Pettit, who both had a crush on her, also during middle school, decided to open the back door of the dog grooming shop and let all the dogs loose ππ. Then we helped round the dogs up as if we were totally innocentβ¦ just to see Kim ππ.
But the biggest impact that Kim had on my life, and it was significant, was I fell in love with her 1964 GTO in high school and eventually got one of my own. I spent many days, hours and weekends with my kids at car shows and doing burnouts. I made sure my kids knew the full story and gave credit to Kim for the car that we got to enjoy and bond as a family. Weβll miss you my friendβ¦

I was so sorry to hear of Kim's passing. We were Strong Vincent Highschool classmates. At 15 years old, I asked her on a date. Well, I was too young to drive. I had to ask my aunt Donna if she would take us to Presque Isle, Kim was okay with it. I remember Kim wrote with chalk on the Perry Monument, "I love..." There was a pause. I thought, what is she going to write!? This was our first date. I was awkward and pretty shy! Then she wrote, "Erie".Β It was actually a relief. We remained friends throughout Highschool. She was a good hearted person. May God bless her surviving family and may they have peace and comfort!
