RIP Kim, You were born on my brother's birthday and died on my sisters. I'm sure to think of you at least twice a year. haha You know I'll think about you a lot more than that. When i go down King St. I'll think of the conversations we had about your mom, and how she let you know when she passed ,she was still around. When I go past Conte (Westside) I think of our kids sharing school events and I think it was campfire girls we volunteered to chaperon an overnight event at Richmond Pond. I'll think about you when I walk past Johnsons old house and remember how you and Jeff were the cutest couple. Pitt park reminds me of the The Gatherin at when you walked by and my daughter said "That lady is so Beautiful! The West Side made us like kin folk floating in and out of each others life. I'll miss your presence
Kim and I both being from the Berkshires I had the lifetime pleasure of meeting Kim in Santa Monica California (she was 21 I was 18).. (I knew everyone she knew in Pittsfield but had never met Kim) Kim came to California to visit her brother Glenn Wayne Smith "Smitty" who I was dating at the time. We became fast friends. One of my favorite memories is when Kim,Smitty and I went and saw Eric Clapton in concert in long Beach California. It was a secured venue (security guard in every section) somehow Kim and I somehow snuck up to the stage (where we weren't supposed to be) and stood in awe as Eric Clapton came right in front of us bending over and jamming at his guitar UNTIL THE SECURITY GUARD ESCORTED US BACK TO OUR SEATS!! "Smitty was so jealous 😁 this is one of the hardest losses I've ever had. Best friends for 45 years!!!
Candace, Mike, Lily, Logan and families, We’re so sorry about Kim. You’re in our thoughts and prayers. We can’t attend the services but will be thinking of you.
