I’m saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. I remember Ken as a thoughtful, even-keeled guy with a soft spoken sense of humor. He was kind and genuine, and a great person to spend time with. Ken was the kind of guy you would want to marry your sister. And I appreciated the time that I got to be his brother in law.

Ken will always be remembered for how well he loved his kids. His thoughtful, calm demeanor and strength made him such a solid dad. Thank you Ken, your spirit lives on in your children and all the lives you’ve touched.

Dear Ken,

We are lucky to have 2 things in common:

1. I can call your children my children because they have been in my life for a long while. 

2. I am married to the woman that at one point in your life you loved dearly; that mutual love between you and Monica never died, it always stayed  in a corner of both of your hearts  

I respect and support that!

My heart aches for the loss and pain that Kyle, Summer and Monica are  experiencing and will always carry with them for the rest of their lives. 

I always admired you for the awesome, caring, loving and dedicated father you were to your 2 amazing children. 

You will always be in their minds, hearts and souls and you will never be forgotten….EVER!

Kyle and Summer are 2 branches of the strong tree you became, they both will become stronger and will always cherish the roots of their main tree…YOU!

Know that they will always make you proud and they will simply become wiser through this new unexpected journey that they have just started. 

You will always live in the heart of those that knew you, loved you and  genuinely cared about you. 

Please know that I will always care for both of your children as my own blood children. 

This has been such a sad tragedy that has touched me beyond words.

Your babies are in good hands, blessed by the love of the most amazing person they could wish for in times like this….their loving mother.

When you have loved someone deeply it doesn't just go away because you have had difficult times. It is there inside forever, always hoping and waiting for a time to show. Thank you Ken for the beautiful children that we have together.  My heart grieves for the kids' loss, for my loss, and for the loss of all those who loved you.

I will post some stories and pics later.
