Kathy's obituary
Kathy was born in Highland Park, Illinois, then shortly thereafter moved to Southern California, where she lived until moving to Nampa, Idaho in March of 2019. Though it was hard for her to leave California after living there for over 70 years, she was excited for a new chapter, and enjoying retirement, close to family in Nampa. Unfortunately, she was unable to really settle into Nampa due to health issues.
Most recently, she worked at Cypress High School, in Orange County, California, where she worked as a Campus Security Guard, for over 20 years, before retiring at the end of 2018. It still makes me smile to think that my 5'5, 110 pound Mom was policing the campus, breaking up fights, and keeping the peace. She made many, many great friends over that time, with her quick wit , sarcastic humor, and charm.
As most of you know, her biggest passion was rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. I think she had every piece of memorabilia they ever made!
Kathy is survived by her two sons, and their families; Mike and his wife Carolyn, Jerry and his wife Stephanie, as well as her 5 grandchildren; Brandon, Trent, Jeffrey, Brooke, and Emily. She is also survived by her brothers Brad and Terry, as well as her sister Donna.
She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. Always on our minds, forever in our hearts. We love you, Mom!
