Like many others its been very difficult for me to process Kathy's passing. It is Easter Monday today, the good Lord has risen giving us the hope for eternal life. I met Kathy in teachers college in London. I was looking for a friend that was committed to their faith. We shared many similar values and interests. We developed a very special friendship and thoroughly enjoyed spending time together. Our friendship continued even though we lived "miles apart". We would listen to one another (listening was one of her many strong qualities) and supported one another. We both loved the arts- and I had the privilege of attending art classes with her. Kathy was my dearest friend and she will always hold a "very special" place in my heart.

We four met in choir and discovered we were born the same year and within 6 weeks of each other. So The Birthday Girls were born. We took a cruise together to celebrate our 50th.
