After a 3 year battle with colon cancer, and various ailments , Katherine “Nana” “Kay” Jane Surette, passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2021 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born into a family of 7 in Lewiston, Maine to Joseph & Amelia Polisky, she was educated in Lewiston schools and had various jobs from waiting tables to working in the old Shoe Shop in Rumford.
