I remember living in the 4 unit apartment building, in the front unit.  It felt like a full sized house, which it probably was in size.  The white metal picket fence, the 2 tall palm trees, the yellow Hornet station wagon parked in the back, my red tricycle, the green sofa, the vintage(current at the time) coffee table, the huge sewing room with a tall bookshelf of Dad's butcher education books, the long staircase, the painting of the sunset behind the flower field, the leather seat that Dad would always sit in, including the next house, Easter egg hunt in the front yard with Antonio & Adrienne, the neighbors across the street, my green swing set, the curvy edged dinner table, green fridge, first microwave from JC Penny's, the retro tv stand, how clean the house was, my blue record player for the read along/play along books, when I was crying when Mom changed my diaper and Dad asking why I was crying(Mom said it was burning me), the long driveway, Auntie Yan Sum picking us up in the green Datsun truck and driving us to Hawthorne Plaza, going to "Mother & Child Observation Class" in Lawndale and Mom was next door crocheting with her senior friends, Dad coming home for lunch from Thrift-T Mart(just a couple of miles away), trying to help with front yard work, and so many more memories...

My cousin Kitty. You will me missed. I have learned from seeing so many deaths that when your given a chance to speak out that is helpful or should be heard, no matter whether your shy or afraid to say something, I believe you should share it while your blessed with time. You never know what tomorrow brings. Kitty was a class act. She was a very calm and warm hearted person with many traits you don’t see much in this lifetime. The world is a colder place without her but yet richer if you knew her. You can tell a lot about her just by speaking with Winston and Tiffany and seeing how they carry her teachings. I still don’t understand why our God allows certain things to happen but I know I can never out think our creator and His plans so we must trust and move forward as Kitty would want as well. Be good and take care of yourselves and each other.

Tiffany & Winston, I send my deepest condolences at this sudden passing of your dear Mother. She was a friend & sister to me right from the start as she warmly welcomed me into the family many years ago when I married your Uncle Woody. She was always very kind, thoughtful and generous toward others. I remember the times we would talk about the Lord, and I could plainly see how her love for God was deep and genuine. I will miss your Mom very much. I pray that in the days ahead you will find a great measure of peace & comfort knowing she is with her Lord, and is reunited with loved ones who have gone on before her.
