Kari Elisabet Mekler (nee Nystrom) born in Wilmington, DE passed away on February 19th at the age of 55 after fighting a fearless battle of small cell lung cancer despite never smoking.
Kari received her bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature at Boston University in 1988 and was a member of the BU Women’s Varsity Crew Team. She settled into a career at a wealth management firm in Boston, later becoming a partner and …
