We are extremely saddened to hear of  Karen’s passing she was always helping others I have some of the fondest memories of Karen when she was at our dojo she was always the first to come and last to leave a wonderful Lady and heaven gained another Angel May God bless the entire Family.

Our loving prayers

Gene and Yvonne Tibon

Today I was in a line at a store and noticed a lady in front of me that had similar hair and build as Karen.  I felt a huge sadness come over me.  I wished I could hear her laugh and joke like we use to do when together.  I met  Karen and Jim when I sold them their home over 35 yrs ago and became good friends.  It wasn't until I was checking my emails when I got home that I realized today was when she passed a year ago.  I am a spiritual person and do believe I was fortunate to have a visit from her today.  I miss her very much.

Karen was my neighbor, classmate and friend throughout our growing up years. We lived together during college and attended each others weddings. Our brothers were friends as well. There are so many stories we shared. Although we lost contact later in life she will always be with me both in my memories and in my heart.
Karen and I were roommates at UC Davis back in the 70's. She was a true friend and confidant. This world will not be same without her. Karen possessed a spirit of genuine kindness and unconditional love, for all people. regardless of race, creed or color; an emotion so lacking these days.
Rest in God's garden my friend, till we meet again.... Love, JoAnn Gise-Saahir
Karen and I met in at Linden HS. She was lovely, smart, witty, athletic and very popular. She and her brother, Glen, along with other friends and I would often get together and listen to music, singing along, or to hang out, laughing and talking. I have a wonderful vision of her as a Basketball Homecoming princess wearing her vibrant smile and a beautiful gown that had been crocheted and sewn by her grandmother.
During our college years we shopped, attended parties and many events together. She talked of her dream of being a writer and women's style magazine editor. She always had a keen sense of fashion.
While visiting her home, I appreciated how welcoming and cheerful she, her dad, her mom and Glen were. New Year's Day parties at the Fujii's house were legend!
In recent years we kept in touch by phone, had occasional meals out and visits. We had great fun going to casinos together.
Karen was generous, kind, very intelligent, compassionate and a true friend. I am going to miss her.
My deepest sympathies to Jim, Alex, Trisha, Vicki, Kristin, Erin and family.

I am so sad to learn of Karen's passing. I worked with her at the Stockton Post Office. Karen had a way of making work a pleasure and she was the only person who called me Patty. She had a wonderful personality and a beautiful heart. I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Patricia Busby Cunningham
I grew up and was friends with Karen and her brother Glen. Karen was a truly good person and I am sending prayers for her loving family.

Jim, Alex and Patricia,

I was so saddened to hear of Karen's passing. I will always remember her laughter and love of life. We had many escapades in our twenties and she was the first person to introduce me to Ensenada and Hussong's. Karen and her family were a huge part of my life for many years, and though I moved away and we lost touch, I remember all the Fujiis so fondly and appreciate their love and friendship. I hope that your memories and the solace of friends and family comfort you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Angela Barosso
