Dear Nisha, Angie, Amy and Steve. Words can’t express how deeply sorry I’m for your great loss. My deepest condolences to you all and the whole family. I wanted to see him before I left, but as they say man proposes and God disposes. May God give you all strength and courage to bear this great loss. RIP Kanti.

It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them leaving a love like no other or single word(s) can describe. We look up at the skies by the day as emotions fill us, knowing something really important and that being he had an amazing gift of life and a beautiful family surrounding that gift.
At Kantimama who I'm sure is around and listening ... you really upheld that sheer essence of: When you were born into this world you were the one who was crying and everyone around you was smiling. A real passionate man who lived and always cherished his family no matter what.. always full of laughter and unimaginable experiences he would share, above all an immense sense of humour that would leave you chuckling in laughter for hours... now he is standing stern from above looking around smiling and everyone else is crying.... its not a goodbye... but... until we meet again.. and we will.. with 💓 Umesh, Katie, Nikki, Shobhu, Rajni and Luka xxx 💓
Mama was an amazing man. It’s hard to think about him without remembering his appetite for life, his lovely smile bought to life by his keen sense of humour and the immense generosity of spirit that encompassed it all. In a very real way, he and mami helped to raise me when I was a child and I will miss him dearly.

My Mama was a man who by his very actions embodied integrity and love for his family. He was a kind and gentle man that gave warmly and taught me that humility and family are everything. A great man of kind words and even kinder actions, a bright flame has gone out.

Some of the fondest memories I have as a child was when we would get to go and visit Ken, Nisha, Angie and Amy in Kitchener. I remember fondly how we would have such a wonderful meal together and then Ken and my dad would head over and play pool for hours on end. Ken and Nisha are some of my parents oldest and dearest friends. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes to all of you. He was a wonderful, giving man and will never be forgotten. Love to you all. Amanda & Rob Augustine and the whole Anger family xoxo

Kanti was an amazing man. He was kind, humble and very affectionate who treated everyone equally and respectfully no matter how big or small the person’s status was. He was always happy to see me and loved my cooking. Once at a party where we were both invited, I brought some batata wadas. As soon as they were served, Kanti looked at me and said “you made these” I am going to miss him terribly. People like him are very rare in this world and it’s unfair we had to lose him.

I met Kanti last year upon moving to Ottawa. He was very down to earth and super kind. He shared many cool stories with me about his past and I really enjoyed hearing them. One thing that was amazing to me was when he told me about how he never took pain medications or anything that helped reduced pain. He was very strong willed and even "lion hearted". I'm very fortunate that I was able to meet him and thankful. Rest in peace good friend.
He was a caring and wonderful person that we will all miss tremendously. Always with a smile and positive attitude is how we will remember him. Lots of love from the Verma family.
