Kanti Mapara passed away on Dec 14, 2017 at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Canada. He was born on Jan 5th, 1947 in Jinja, Uganda to Vallabhdas and Vijaya Mapara.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Nisha and his beloved daughters Angie and Amy, and son-in-law Steven.

He will be celebrated as a devoted husband and loving father who always put his family, friends and community first. His loved ones in Ottawa and all over the world will remember him for his sense of humour and laughter.

He was a dedicated philanthropist, pharmacist and successful businessman. He built a beautiful life for his family and his greatest joy was making sure they have everything they needed and more. His legacy of love and generosity will stay with them forever.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those that have supported them through the most challenging times in their lives.

The funeral service will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON) on Sunday December 17, 2017 from 9:00 am – 11:00am.
