June and I were close friends in our teen years. Her house was where we all hung out. We remained friends throughout the years. So sorry for your loss.

I am holding your family in love and light. I am sorry at June's passing. I met June when she brought David to the Post Tribune warehohse to see about a paper route. We discovered she had worked at the J with my Dad, George Enos. Insfantly it was like we had known one another forever . Then we reconnected some years later at the Unitarian Church downtown Hobart. We worked on many projects together there. I always loved to hear her whistle. She was a truly happy human, so kind and giving.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your dear mother. I worked with her at the railroad. What a lovely person she was.

I met June when I was 15 yrs old. She was dating my brother, Ed. While they were together June and I grew very close. I was "into" cars, and June was driving this very cool cougar that I loved. She promised that after I secured my license I could drive it. But my story is better than a simple drive for a few minutes. My VW Beetle needed some work, and without me asking she let me have possession of her car for days, until my car was ready. Who does that? She was working, dating, living her life, and she loans me her car, this newbie driver, for days. I felt like I had won a lottery driving around in this badass Ford Cougar at 16 yrs old. That woman was fun, and so loving, it was impossible not to lover her. By law, we were sisters-in-law, but we became true sisters, and remained so until the end. June was a special woman, crazy about her people, loved life, and gave all she could all the time, to whomever she deemed worthy....which was anyone. Condolences to the family. She will be sorely missed and forever loved.

I am so very sorry to hear of June's passing. We both grew up on Polk Street and I remember her well. She was always fun, I have fond memories of playing and laughing with her as a kid. May memories of her spirit help her family heal, find peace, and always have her in their hearts.
