Great in His sight is the death of His saints....Julie you were a light prematurely taken. I will always remember your sassy spirit and beautiful smile. You have left a scar on us all that will be difficult to heal. Rest easy my friend...till we meet again. My prayer is for your family, friends, and colleagues. We will miss you so much.

Julie touched so many young nurses lives. I am grateful to her for helping our next generation of nurses to be confident and compassionate. She truly represented the meaning of what a nurse should be. May you now Rest In Peace Julie and may your family find comfort in knowing how inspirational you were for so many.

Julie, Julie, Julie... How I am going to miss you! To think I will never hear your voice again... or see your eye-roll... to speak to each other without using words, but our eyes... or to try to figure out your hand signals and codes...

You were feisty and tenacious, passionate and kind. You were blunt and honest. You were caring and loved. You were my best work friend, my sister. My heart is breaking and I can only imagine how much more your girls’ hearts are breaking. You were always a team, your hearts intertwined.

My sympathies and condolences to Kate and Dani, Megan, Tom, and all the other students, friends and loved ones who are mourning the loss of Julie in their lives. Just know that while she is gone from us in this physical world, she is not forgotten. She has left her mark on many lives and will live on in our hearts and memories. Julie was truly a special lady!

I babysat Julie when her parents moved into our neighborhood. Dallas, Leslie and Julie were very special to me at a very difficult time in my life. She will always be "my little Julie"

Oh my goodness... my heart hurts. Loved her so much! She was such a bright light and inspiration and friend to me. We spent every Wednesday night for 2 years together pursuing our post master’s degrees at OU. She was the best! We’ve been in contact since graduation. She was a bright spot in my life... I’m so very sad her light is gone. My heart aches for you... sending so much love .
