This is Todd Looney, Judy's son. This is quite a time for all of us, as you can imagine. With the disease of dementia, and nursing home costs, it's not only a drain emotionally on Dad (Dennis), but also a financial drain. Mom was VERY adamant about dog shelters, thrift stores, and her faith. As they needed to move into a care facility, so too did they move into a chapter in life where things were put onto a fiixed budget. Dad will be annoyed by the mere fact that I am setting this up. I know that. What I also know is that for me, I would like to contribute something to a family member's legacy, and since it will be a little bit before we have a memorial service, AND it will be in a park, the source for some flowers and food are yet to be determined. Therefore, in lieu of sending flowers, send a gift of money if you would like in memory of mom, grandma, Judy Johnson. The funds will be put to great use.
