Josh was my freshman year in college roommate at Northeastern Illinois and one of my closest friends all those years.  We drove to Florida together from Illinois to stay with grandma.  He was larger than life and really helped me come out of my shell.  Always the life of the party and a friend to everyone who crossed his path.  I am deeply saddened by this and wish we had reconnected in the past years.  I shared some pics of some of the best days of my life with Josh.  Love ya bud!

For those of you that might not know, Josh was part of the group that swam from MacKinac Island to Chicago back in 1995 to raise money for a diabetes foundation. That adventure of doing something wonderful to help others likely contributed to his joy and passion for helping others throughout his life. Here are just a few pictures from that event.
