It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua "Josh" Perez on May 14, 2023. Born on April 6, 1995, Joshua lived a life filled with passion and vibrancy, leaving a significant imprint on every soul he encountered.

Known as Joshua to many, our dear departed preferred the name Josh. With his unique passions and interests, he was a radiant presence in the lives of many—his remarkable spirit will be sorely missed but remembered with great fondness. His magnetism was reflected in his favorite colors, red and black, symbolizing his fiery spirit and the deep intensity of his character.

Joshua held a profound love for music. This passion connected him deeply to many friends and acquaintances, creating strong bonds and memories lasting beyond his time with us.

Joshua is survived by his loving sisters, D’Ana Perez, Hannah Perez, Le’Ana Perez , his brother, Edward Benavidez,  his adoring mother and father, Miriam Perez and Edward Benavidez III. Joshua is also survived by three beautiful nieces, Hailiey, Tyler, and Jade. Their lives, forever marked by his absence, will continue to honor Joshua's spirit and hold his memory dear.

We express our deepest condolences to the Perez family and all those whose lives Joshua has touched. His life may have been short-lived, but his memory will be eternal. We invite those who knew and loved Joshua to celebrate his life, and to remember him as the vibrant and spirited soul he was, forever imprinted in our hearts.
