It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joe" Stanislaus Schmidt Jr., aged 70, of Watauga, TX, who died on October 31st, 2025 @ the VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX after his heart failed due to lack of oxygen as a result of lung cancer.
Born on May 11th, 1955 in Barstow, CA, he was the child of Joseph Stanislaus Schmidt I, and Mary Stevenson Schmidt. Joe joined the U.S. …
