We mournfully announce that Joseph M. Opatsky, 79, of Summerville, SC, passed away on January 7, 2022 at Summerville Medical Center.
Joe was born to Benjamin Opatsky and Julia (Dudek) Opatsky on September 26, 1942 in Newark, NJ. Joe attended Irvington Technical High School until he graduated in 1961. He then went on to serve in the US Air Force.
One of Joe’s biggest passions in life was music. He was a self-taught guitarist, singer, …
