I was so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Joe and I were classmates at Elgin High. I don't think we had seen each other since leaving high school. I remember him as a particularly good-natured guy. I once rode my bike out to his house in the Bartlett area. I remember the house being under a bridge! He was good friends with John Faber, another friend of mine. In recent years I had wondered how he was doing and had thought of trying to get in touch. I'm so sorry he is gone and am sending kind wishes to all of you family.
