It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jose "Joe" Barragan, a beloved brother and dear friend, on July 14, 2024. Born on May 27, 1959, Jose, often known as Joe, was a beacon of kindness, love, and generosity in our lives.

Jose had a big heart, always ready to share warmth and goodwill. He firmly believed in the simple yet profound lesson of being good to each other, a philosophy he lived by every day. His greatest joy and crowning achievement were his children, whose lives he enriched tremendously with his wisdom and love.

The legacy Jose leaves behind is one of kindness and generosity. His light touched many lives, and his absence leaves a void that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jose is survived by his brother, Roberto Barragan, who will continue to honor his memory.

In honor of Jose's life, a burial service will be held on August 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery. Prior to this, a Celebration of Life in Jose's honor will be conducted at the Poverello of Assisi Retreat at 10:00 AM. Friends and loved ones are welcomed to attend and share their memories of Jose.
