Background
It is with a very heavy heart that we are coming to you to ask for help in laying my brother Joe to rest. Joe suffered a massive heart attack on 06/16. When he arrived at the hospital the doctor said he was a walking miracle because all his arteries were completely occluded and his heart was severely damaged (ischemia). He had to have a triple bypass and mitral valve replacement. When he came out of surgery he was in critical condition. His recovery was going to be difficult because he had breathing problems and fluid overload as well. He made it out of the ICU to step down. However, the hospital transferred him to a Respiratory Care facility and two days later I received a phone call that he wasn't doing good, when I got to the hospital I was told that Joe had passed. His heart was just too weak and his organs were not functioning well. Now we find ourselves in the process of his funeral services. We are hoping to celebrate his life on 8/10.
Unfortunately, Joe had not preplanned for his final resting place. Therefore, we wanted to send out this donation request for those of you who have asked if help was needed. No amount is too small, as any amount helps.
We would also like to thank you for the calls, texts, visits & prayers that we have received, they are very much appreciated. Your sentiments are heartfelt. It is times like this where family and friends make a difference. We are confident that God will answer our prayers and everything will work itself out. Please continue to pray for Joe’s children, Joseph, Monique, & Michael, and the rest of our family. God bless you and your compassion during this difficult time. Contribute
