Jon passed away on July 26, 2023 at his home in Deerfield Beach. Jon was 44 years old and was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of passing.

Memorial events are private

Jon's ashes were scattered at sea, with a plaque placed in the Neptune Memorial Reef in Key Biscayne. We had a small gathering as we watched Jon's boat sail off into the sea, Viking-style without the fire, taking him on his last scuba trip.
