I will miss John more than words can say. Yet, I will always cherish his friendship, guidance, and the incredible experiences we shared. His legacy of positivity, insight, and kindness will forever remain with me.

John was truly a once-in-a-generation person—my best friend, mentor, boss, and life coach. Over the past 35 years, he had an immeasurable impact on my life, guiding me with wisdom, strength, and compassion.

John was an intellectual giant, an astute businessman, and a man of toughness tempered with kindness. His respect and love extended to all who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed by so many.

Rest in Peace

A wonderful person with a great heart to all he met in his life. Sharing love, kindness, compassion, care and building friendships. Miss this wonderful friend.

We were blessed to have experienced his humor and quick wit, his generosity, and his warmth.  We will miss him.

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door with hope and with prayer’s faith that it will open for us."  This quote resonates deeply within me because John, you opened that door for me in  September 1991 in your Hong Kong office. I don’t know what you saw in me but you hired me within 20 mins into our interview asking me “when can I move to Hong Kong”? You don’t know how you had forever changed my life because I flew to Hong Kong with enough money for a flight and a day stay at the hotel looking for a job. On my first day at office, you ensured that I was well taken care off. Your continual support and mentorship groomed me both in my skills and confidence that my career forever changed from a Co-ordinator to one of RL’s  leading Global Senior Director in New York. John, you not only were a great boss but man with great business vision but your generosity and humanity within you made many of us to be great leaders with kindness like you. I am forever grateful and thankful for you.  Because I met you, my life was forever changed. I am deeply saddened by your passing and my heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this difficult time…. June Loy

Off road jeeping, always jeeping. I am sure he and Mike are already planning their next build.
The day that he was born in our home in Marietta, Oklahoma, my mother handed him to me and said: “This one is yours.” And he always was. My baby brother. My child. Whenever Johnny walked into a room of strangers, he quickly knew each of them. He attracted good friends all of his life because of his kindness. He emanated good will, interest in others, and absolute fidelity to friends and kin.
