Mr. John Taylor Jackson, age 35, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Vidalia. He spent most of his life working in farming and automotive work, and in his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lewis “Johnny” Jackson; maternal grandparents, Ray and Savilla Taylor, and paternal grandfather, John Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Ariel Jackson of Vidalia; three children, Kyle Jackson and Rebecca Jackson, both of Lyons, and Triniti Jackson of Vidalia; his mother, Gina Taylor Jackson of Vidalia; one brother, Tyler Pittman; one sister, Cheyenne Jackson of Vidalia; his paternal grandmother, Shelby Jackson of Higgston; one niece, Aria Hodges; one nephew, Oliver-Dax Hodges, both of Vidalia; and his beloved dog, Cash.

A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, December 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home with Reverend Roy C. Drawdy officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Waters Cemetery in Oak Park at a later date.
