I will never forget the day John told me, and I quote; “Now, you’re gonna marry my daughter! Here’s your ring!”

I’m sort of old fashioned, and decided that I should be the one to tell John that I got his youngest daughter pregnant, and well, he decided that I was going to Marry her! So we all went to Las Vegas a month or so later, and we got married.
I liked hanging out with John, he had an opinion about everything! 😂 And I’m going to miss him.

If you know anything about my grandpa, you know he was never wearing a shirt and always had something to say about ANYTHING. My grandpa was a man of many words but, the ones that stick with me the most are, “Miranda, no one is going to give you anything in life but yourself. Don’t ask for hand outs and put worth into your word.”
I think I was 10 at the time.. hahaha!
My grandpa and I spent almost every thanksgiving together and once I became of legal age to drink, oh it was on. There was the first year I returned home my close friends and my family did a big get together. This included making drinks at 10am, and trying to out drink grandpa... and that ended up me not remember eating dinner.. which is sad because I love to eat.

I’ll miss you forever grandpa.
